The municipal council in partnership with JM BUSHA 54 races for peace and unity in Africa in collaboration with Eswatini Football Association held a one-day tournament for primary schools in Swaziland. This sporting event is held annually for a number of primary schools around Mbabane, Swaziland.
The sporting event was attended by 24 different schools around the area. The tournament was open to both girls and boys and the objectives of the tournament were the following;
- To introduce physical activities to the child at an early age and the benefits of it.
- To promote a healthy city.
- To advocate for better facilities usage for the child at an early age.
The municipal school ball games are hosted annually by the council amongst other programmes. The girls' section of the competition was won by the Mbabane Central girls and the boys’ competition we saw John Wesley boys being crowned as the 2019 champions.
The JM BUSHA 54 family would like to congratulate all the school kids who participated in this annual tournament. Through their participation, they have assisted us in achieving our main objective which is to have a peaceful and united Africa through sports.
