We are proud to announce the 2nd annual JM BUSHA 54 RACES for Peace & Unity initiative in Eswatini. The launch of the race was on the 3rd of April 2019 at the Chambers of Municipal Council of Mbabane. The launch event was attended by the Mayor of Municipal Council of Mbabane Councillor Zephania Nkambule, Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council, Mr Dumsani Ntiwane representing all the sporting organisations in Eswatini and representatives of all sponsored sports associations.
The activities start off with a Golf tournament on the 16th of May 2019. Please keep an eye out on our website and social media pages for the announcement of the venue. JM BUSHA 54 in partnership with Municipal Council of Mbabane will host the 2nd annual JM BUSHA 54 Races Marathon on the 18th of May 2019 at Prince of Wales Stadium in Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland).
The event will comprise of the following distances:
- R120 for the 21.54km
- R100 for the 10.54km
- R80 for the 5.4km
Registrations for the race are now open at the following venues:
- Sneakers Mbabane
- JM BUSHA Offices – Lilunga House
- Manzini – FITNESS ZONE
- Timbali Lodge – Ezulwini
On the same day we will be hosting a Tennis senior tournament and Under 20 netball tournament. These would be held at The Coronation Park and Mbabane Country Club in Mbabane.
These events are in support of the organisation objectives which are:
(a) To promote peace and unity through education, arts, culture, music, and sports;
(b) To engage and enrol individuals and institutions to actively promote and pledge peace, unity, accountability, and responsibility at all levels of society, organisations and governments; and
(c) To raise funds for the African Union (AU) peacekeeping missions, mediation, reconciliation, conflict resolution, and crisis management work in Africa, and elsewhere in the world.
